A Passing Summer...

Finally, I have a blog! I have wanted one for some time, but have not been able to find time to do so. Now, since I have been working on my personal web site for this semester of school, I decided that now would be as a good time as ever to start one up.

The most difficult part for me was getting a blog posting website and then tying a blog into my own web site. I found it difficult to do, since there were a lot of things to tweak and several problems that I had to sort through. If you tried accessing my blog in the last few weeks, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, what's new in my life? Well, maybe I should start with what's going on. I am happily married, and it just so happens that today marks my five-month-iversary! Soon enough it will be a half of a year. It surprises me how much time flies.

This school semester is almost over for me, and needless to say, I am looking forward to a break during the Fall Semester, as much as I love school. I have found that I love to work and be stretched, but sometimes my body and my brain need a nice break. My plans for the fall include working, and hopefully achieving an internship at an outside organization. I am currently interested in internships at a few places, including LDS church headquarters in Salt Lake City. Working in Salt Lake has long been one little life dream of mine.

My wife, Shannon, is the best. She is especially patient with me, like when today we decided to drive to Idaho Falls to do some grocery shopping. Before we left, she asked me if I had my debit card on me, and if it had money on it, which to both questions I answered a definitive "yes". Unfortunately, however, after driving the forty five minutes (usually half an hour, but with construction this time), we spent about another hour trying to find the particular store we were looking for. After almost running out of gas and filling up, I realized that I indeed had my card on me, but instead of being the one with money on it, it was the one without. After filling up the car, we didn't have enough money to buy what groceries we came for on that particular card, so we drove back home. Typical me, for those who know me.

Second Post

This is a new post.
I am just trying to test out the new formatting settings I have altered in my code and in my CSS. I hope it works!

Well, what do you think?
